SODAX Stake is a dedicated area within the SODAX ecosystem that allows you to put your SODA tokens to work. By "staking" your assets, you can contribute to the stability of the protocol and, in return, earn rewards over time.

For a beginner, you can think of staking like a savings account for money held as SODA, but with a few key differences unique to the world of Decentralized Finance (DeFi).
How Staking Works
When you stake your SODA tokens, you are committing them to a smart contract, a secure, automated piece of code, supporting protocol stability and earning a share of fees generated by SODAX.
xSODA: When you deposit SODA into the staking app, you receive xSODA in return. This is a yield-bearing “liquid staking” token that represents your share of the staking pool.
Growing Value: Unlike a traditional bank where you see your balance increase in cents, xSODA is designed to increase in value relative to SODA. This means that when you eventually unstake, your xSODA will be worth more SODA than when you started.
Why Stake Your SODA?
Staking is more than just a way to hold your tokens; it is a way to participate in the growth of the infrastructure you use.
Earn Staking Rewards: Rewards are distributed regularly to all stakers. These rewards come from the protocol’s fee generation, rewarding those who provide long-term support to the system.
Compound Your Gains: Because the value of xSODA grows automatically, your rewards are effectively "compounding" without you needing to manually claim and re-deposit them every day.
Important Things to Know
If you are new to DeFi and staking, there are two key concepts to keep in mind before you start:
Unstaking Periods: In many DeFi protocols, including SODAX, there is often a waiting period when you decide to "unstake" your tokens. This is the time you must wait before you receive your SODA tokens back. This ensures the system remains stable and prevents sudden, massive shifts in liquidity.
Variable APY: The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) will change over time as the rewards increasing the value of xSODA are based on fees generated by the SODAX system.
Getting Started
To begin staking, simply navigate to the Stake tab on the SODAX app, connect your wallet, and choose the amount of SODA you wish to commit. You will see your xSODA balance immediately, and your journey toward earning rewards begins right away.
