🔍 Have you ever swapped into an asset you couldn’t use? We focus on delivering native assets with the maximum use case, where you need them.

SODAX Swap allows you to exchange an asset you currently hold on one network (e.g., Ethereum) for a different asset on another network (e.g., Solana) in a single flow. Often, moving between networks requires many steps, different gas tokens, and bridging tools. SODAX coordinates this for you in the background. You simply choose what you have and what you want. We handle the coordination between the networks to deliver that outcome.

What to expect from SODAX Swap

  • It takes a moment: Because SODAX coordinates between independent networks, swaps are not always as fast as single network swaps. The time it takes depends on the speed of the specific networks you are using.

  • Tracking your status: You will always see a clear status update. We believe in being transparent about where your assets are at every step of the process.

  • Safety first: If network conditions change during your swap, SODAX is designed to handle it. The system prioritizes safety over speed to ensure your funds do not get stuck if a transaction takes longer than usual, or rolling back if the task can’t be achieved as requested.

Step-by-Step Guide to Swap on SODAX Swap

  1. Open SODAX Swap.

    • Head to sodax.com and click ‘Launch Apps’ in the top-right.

    • Ensure that ‘Swap’ is selected on the left-hand menu.

  2. Connect your wallet(s) for networks you want to swap between.

  3. Select the asset you want to swap from.

    • The top selection on the SODAX Swap page is for the asset you intend to swap from.

    • To change this selection, click on the down chevron next to the asset. This will open the token list.

    • You can either click on the token you wish to swap from within this list, search by token name in the search bar, or filter by network by clicking on the icon to the right of the search bar.

  4. Select the asset you want to swap to.

    • The second selection on the SODAX Swap page is for the asset you intend to swap to.

    • To change this selection, click on the down chevron next to the asset. This will open the token list.

    • You can either click on the token you wish to swap to within this list, search by token name in the search bar, or filter by network by clicking on the icon to the right of the search bar.

  5. Enter the amount of your asset you wish to swap.

    • This amount should be entered next to the asset you have chosen to swap from.

    • Note. Your current balance will be shown beneath the asset chosen, and you can click ‘Max’ there to swap all of your balance.

  6. Review your swap.

    • Click ‘Review’ to see the relevant fees and details for your chosen swap.

  7. Initiate your Swap.

    • Once you have reviewed your swap, click the Swap button in the modal (‘Swap to asset on network’)

  8. Confirm the transaction.

    • You will now be redirected to your wallet application, authorize the transaction and the SODAX will start solving your intent-based Swap.

  9. Watch your transaction complete.

    • If you stay on the swap modal you can watch the progress as your assets move across networks. You can also watch these transactions in real time on SODAX Scan.

  10. You have now completed your Swap!

⚠️You may notice when inspecting your transactions (via transaction ID), that your funds have been sent to an address you did not enter/connect. This is not necessarily cause for alarm and is likely to be a SODAX contract address. If you are concerned about your transaction, please open a support ticket with the button in the bottom right.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

  • Why is my swap taking longer than expected?

    • Sometimes the destination network is congested. This is normal. SODAX detects this and ensures the transaction completes as soon as the network allows.

  • What if my swap fails?

    • SODAX is built with recovery paths. If a swap cannot be completed exactly as planned (due to a sudden price shift or network issue), the system will guide you to a recovery option to ensure you retain control of your funds.
